Climate and weather
The location of the waterworks in Čunovo where the Divoká voda complex is also situated can be found in the southernmost part of Bratislava. The Danube River has here its broadest flow in Slovakia, and nearby there is the old Danube flow, too.
The climate is humid but pleasant; the air temperatures are usually by 2 to 3 degrees lower than in the Bratislava downtown due to the near Danube large water area which is a positive factor in summer heats. Winds are usually stronger in bad weather conditions; therefore, there are good possibilities to fly a kite or to perform the “kitting” sports.
